What if you had invested in an ETF instead…
The same weekly amount, invested monthly into an S&P 500 ETF, would be worth today:
Gain: +690.384 € (+17,350% over 4.989 draws)
We use the S&P 500 with dividend reinvestment. The MSCI World is very comparable in the long run.

About the combination "The classic"
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 is the most-played lottery combination in the world. Estimates run into tens of thousands of weekly tickets, often picked from the stubborn feeling that such an "obvious" sequence has to come up eventually. Mathematically that doesn't hold. The odds are identical to any other six-of-49 combo: 1 in 13,983,816.
The real problem shows up only if the combo actually wins. A hypothetical six-match on 1 to 6 would have to be split with so many co-winners that estimates put the per-head payout below €100,000, instead of the millions a single winner with unusual numbers takes home. Picking "the safe combo" gets you one of the weakest payouts the lottery has on offer.
